characteristics leadership see it as the ability to motivate the players
- the higher the coach's leadership the slower your squad's » team spirit will drop
- leadership of a coach slowly decreases if he was training a team for one season or more

- the better a coach's skill level the faster your players will improve through training
- a rule of thumb is that a passable coach takes a week longer than a solid one to raise players one level of a trained skill

- the highest skill level for coaches is called "excellent" but only is half a step better than solid:
the skill levels of coaches are created with the same sublevels* meaning that every coach with a certain skill level is the same*. but please note that an excellent coach is only half a step better than solid !! this fact combined with the enormous cost and the leadership decay should make you think twice before hireing an excellent one.
*same sublevel exception: coaches with disastrous leadership will start to slowly loose their skill aswell
tactical type
defensive minded - will increase the defensive performance of your team / but also weaken the attack
fond of attacking - will boost your attack / weaken your defence
neither attack or defensive minded - has a very small positive influence on attack and defence / no negative effects

- player has to be in club for at least 16 weeks before its possible to make him the coach
- the coaches skill level can only be as good as the players current experience level
